The academic art of riding aims to establish a communication between horses and humans based on mirroring. Techniques of learning by mirroring, exemplas and role modeling, are and have been important also for human learning throughout history. Can historical sources about learning add perspectives to the way we learn from the horses, and how we intend to guide them? This clinic combines history and practical horse communication in the exploration of how learning can be achieved – by individuals and in horse-human relationships.
